A beautiful former miners cottage. The cottage has been tastefully restored, decorated and furnished. Everything is provided for. Jude was responsive to any questions I had before and after booking. Jude also met us when we arrived and helpfully showed us around the cottage. It is a lovely property set in a little row of cottages, and had a courtyard garden with patio. Peaceful area but also providing easy access to places to visit. Jude kindly provided some welcome basic essentials for when we arrived. The facilities are excellent including ensuites, with great showers, to both bedrooms and a nice log burner in the sitting room. I highly recommend the cottage as a place to stay.

Gorgeous, cosy, country cottage. Immaculately presented and with everything needed for a short stay. The beds were very comfortable and the shower rooms are brand new with great water pressure. Excellent food & drink at the Red House which is a short walk away. Jude was very friendly and made us feel so welcome, thank you! We will certainly book again when we are next in the area. A well deserved 5 stars!

Perfect … absolutely spotlesslessly clean, high standard decor and fittings . Thankyou so much Jude for the fabulous scones, bread and milk, the games were amazing, loved the LOGO game 🙂 you thought of absolutely everything …
